So Ahead of Its Time We Had to Wait 20 Years
A Life’s Work Built on Safety, Innovation, and Purpose: Dr. Nasser Saebi beginning in the 1970s, Dr. Nasser Saebi set out to develop a building technology with a clear purpose: to help protect lives in regions vulnerable to natural disasters such as earthquakes and tornadoes, while also addressing the growing challenge of housing affordability. Over decades of research, engineering, and real-world testing, this vision evolved into what is now known as the SABS Building System, an innovative construction technology designed to balance structural resilience, efficiency, and accessibility.
Building With Foam
A new method had to be developed to build sustainable buildings that improve access to safe housing. The Saebi Alternative Building Method (SABS) is a three layer composite system that creates a monolithic structure that is 100% recyclable and resistant to most natural disasters. Our EPS + SABSCRETE composite system forms a monolithic shell—engineered to handle seismic forces, high winds, heavy loads, and extreme environments.

I talked with several people at Strata about some unique ideas I have had floating in my brain.
